Business Development Officer (Part-Time)

Role Review

We are seeking a sales-savvy Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be motivated by growth, skilled at building partnerships, and committed to generating and managing a strong sales pipeline. They will excel at nurturing relationships and closing opportunities that drive revenue – helping us scale SIMFONIK’s impact across the UK and internationally.

The Business Development Officer will play a crucial role in driving SIMFONIK’s commercial growth. Working closely with the General Manager and Executive Director, you will focus on generating and managing a robust sales pipeline, building partnerships, and closing opportunities that expand SIMFONIK’s reach. You will also contribute to shaping a sustainable business model that ensures the long-term success of our innovative training platform.

Key Responsibilities

●  Lead Generation: Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities across healthcare, care, education, and corporate training sectors, with clear weekly and monthly targets.

●  Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a clear sales pipeline, tracking leads and progress using CRM or project management tools.

●  Proposals & Pitches: Support the preparation of proposals and presentations that secure contracts and partnerships.

●  Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.

●  Growth Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to align business development activities with SIMFONIK’s mission and delivery schedule.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

●  Sales-oriented & proactive – driven to seek out and convert opportunities.

●  Strategic & organised – confident in setting priorities and tracking progress.

●  Collaborative – enjoys working with a creative, interdisciplinary team.

●  Clear communicator – skilled at writing persuasively and presenting with impact.

Experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within the creative industries, healthcare, or training sectors is highly desirable.
